The irony of this is that anti-Semitism is for the most part a product of a Roman Catholic world, a world not only responsible for the very stereotypes she decries, but also the murder of millions of Jews down the centuries. That Europe is now largely empty of Jews is a result of these Roman Catholic depredations for the Nazis could not have achieved what they did without the active and willing assistance of many millions of Jew-hating Roman Catholics. Today, it is neither safe nor comfortable to be a Jew in many places in Europe, especially if the Jew is religious and thus very visible or a supporter of Israel. I am not aware of any similar burdens attaching to the followers of the Church of Rome.

Joshua, one usually finds that facts beat prejudice. If you were to look at a graphic of the distribution of religious denominations in Germany in 1933, you would find that were the Catholic population was highest the Nazi vote was lowest; and vice versa. As for similar burdens attaching to followers of the Church of Rome, he might like to talk to 17 of my ancestors whose heads were detached from their necks for being Catholic.
