Just heard Derek Thompson say this on At The Races, of the jockey on the race leader having a look behind him:

Paul Moloney has a peep and I think he'll like what he sees between his legs.
Almost as good as the famous (although perhaps apocryphal) cricket commentary:
The bowler's Holding, the batsman's Willey.

What about that classic from the 1976 Olympics: "Juantorena opens his legs and shows his class"?

... or Ron Atkinson's “He dribbles a lot and the opposition don’t like it - you can see it all over their faces.”

Hello Stephen. Not apocryphal; It was a BBC Radio commentator at the Oval in 1976 and it was Henry Blowfeld who then couldn't contain his mirth and gurgled like a drain for about 3 very funny minutes.

Tim, it was Bryan "Johnners" Johnson rather than Blowers.

Hi Austin - ah - that's the missing piece of the story - Johnson who made the comment... I meant it was Blowfeld who was falling about.
