May 7th, 2008 8:31amWhen all these characters threaten to kill themselves, or go on hunger strike, or leave the country, or whatever, whenever some eeevil rightwinger wins a democratic election, you know what - they never do. Shame. A sort of Darwinian process of the intellectual classes needs to operate here, methinks.

May 7th, 2008 9:47amRemember Phil Collins saying he would leave the UK if Labour won the 97 election? Well he did leave to become a tax exile is some nasty little Swiss canton & is now threatening to come back if the Tories get back in. Soon as that gets out it's curtains for Cameron's poll lead, Boy George needs to come up with a 90% tax on the income of returning cheesy pop stars to keep him out otherwise is curtains for the new Tory project.
