Lest we forget Tonge also expressed a desire to be a suicide-bomber a.k.a. indescriminant murderer of Israeli innocents. She should have gone after that speech, but in true Jew-hatred style, she totally failed to see why she was being racist.

Ironically with folks like her in positions of influence and power, the need for Israel is only magnified. She would do her cause far more benefit by shutting up.

Again Stephen reacts with near-hysteria to any suggestion that a Jewish lobby exists and is good at what it does. Why? Is he seriously suggesting that Jews are not influential out of proportion to their numbers? And I fail to understand why Enoch Powell was rendered "unfit" for the front bench when he had the support of the majority of the country. He did not call for massacres or even for voluntary repatriation: he pointed out the obvious, namely, that mass immigration was going to lead to extremely serious problems. Would Stephen support mass immigration into Israel by Asians, blacks and others? I am sure he wouldn't, because he must recognize how harmful it would be to Israel's ethnic interests.

James' first 3 sentences are nonsense, and prove that he can't read. Tonge, who publicly supported the murder of Israeli civilians, is saying far more than merely that Jews are influential: she is saying that there is a Jewish Mafia which silences those who complain about it.

The rest of the post, about Powell, is spot on. Powell was telling the truth, which is why he was sacked by a man not fit to shine his shoes.

'James' is missing the point: there is nothing sinister or all-powerful about 'the Jewish lobby'. Jews, like any other ethnic group, are free to influence policies to advance their interests and, if they are good at it, they are good at many other things too.
As for 'Asians, blacks and others (sic)' emigrating to Israel, not only tens of thousands of Black Ethiopians became Israelis since mid-1980s, but Israel is spending tens of millions of shekels to improve their welfare, 'ethnic interests (sic)' or no 'ethnic interests'.

I do not believe the Jewish lobby is sinister or all-powerful or monolithic. I do believe that it exists, is powerful and has interests not always identical to those of the nation as a whole, whether the nation is the US or UK. And sometimes it mistakes its own interests: Jewish support for mass immigration is not good for Jews.

But they're Jewish. Why not have black Christians, animists and Muslims, if (as most Jews heartily agree) diversity is so good for the UK and US? Why not have Asian Muslims and Hindus? Please don't pretend Israel has an immigration policy remotely comparable to those supported by Jews for the rest of the Western world. Israel rightly rejects non-Jews.

Where are all these Jews and Jewish organisations pressing to get as many black, Asian etc immigrants into the UK? I presume all the lefties and Conservative wets who have pursued these policies since the 50s are Jews or cats paws of the Jews. FWIW when I'm present, my Jewish friends and neighbours - without exception - oppose unlimited (or even limited) immigration into the UK and are highly sceptical of "diversity" policies and communalist politics.

Of course, as James I have no doubt would claim although neither he nor I nor anyone else (including those in the paranoid wilderness populated by the likes of Baroness Tonge) has any evidence to adduce, among themselves they are probably plotting the overthrow of the government and an immediate further wholesale migration from Bangladesh and Somaliland to facilitate the conversion of England to become part of the Umma.

It's perfectly understandable that Jews support mass immigration into non-Jewish nations and not into Israel, even if some Jews don't agree.

Some Jews are like that, but according to the Chief Rabbi Jews have been central to multi-culti and other aspects of "diversity":

Neither the Board of Deputies nor the Chief Rabbi speak for all Jews. They are as close to being self-appointed as it's possible to be and not actually be a military junta. ALL the Jews I know oppose further immigration, other than in very exceptional individual circumstances.

Haman's ear seems to believe the screeching antisemitic lies of Walt and Mearsheimer. That should tell us all we need to know about him.

Its an organized mafia. They come down hard on their detractors or for that matter anyone in their way. They ruin lives and careers through the use of the media.

They run financial circles by contributing to politicians and those politicians in turn take public funds and steer it to their businesses thus creating more power and wealth for the Jewish community. Don't like it? Nothing you can do about it.

Who claims they do? But a) the Board of Deputies has a great deal of power and influence; b) the Chief Rabbi has a deep understanding of politics and society. BOD's support for immigration is therefore something to take seriously, as is the Chief Rabbi's belief that Jews began the multi-culti mess.

There is a clever book, Superclass, which chronicles the undue influence of those such as Tonge. I am frankly relieved she was relieved.
