Delivery Problems
If you experience any problems with the delivery of your copy of The Spectator, please contact Subscription Services. If your copy arrives damaged, we will replace it right away. If your copy does not arrive, we will replace it and/or credit the missing issue to your subscription.
UK copies are sent out first class each Thursday, and our expected delivery time for UK subscribers is 1-2 days. Please allow 5-7 working days for overseas delivery.
If your copy is not arriving within these times, please contact us, as there may be a distribution problem. All delivery queries are forwarded to the Royal Mail and our overseas agents as appropriate.
Mailing Lists
If you have ticked the mailing protection box on your order, your name will not be passed to any other companies. The Spectator occasionally makes its list of subscriber names and addresses available to carefully screened charities, companies and associations that we think you would have an interest in. If you would prefer not to receive such mail, please contact customer services using the details at the top of this page.
It is helpful for us to have an email address and daytime telephone number should we need to contact you. Please be assured that these are for The Spectator’s use only. We do not make telephone numbers or email addresses available to other companies or organisations.
Suspending – Holidays
You can suspend your subscription if you are away from home, and have it restarted when you return. Simply contact customer services at least two weeks in advance, and tell us the dates between which you do not wish to receive the magazine. When you return, we’ll arrange for your subscription to restart.
Alternatively, we can arrange a temporary change of address. We may make a small additional charge if a subscription paid at the UK rate is sent overseas for a significant period of time.
Refunds
Should you wish to cancel your subscription, you will receive a full refund on all unmailed issues. (For subscribers paying by five-week Direct Debit subscriptions, your subscription will finish at the end of the current five-week period).
Please allow 28 days for refunds to be processed.
Gift Subscriptions
Our online service is not currently able to offer renewals or address changes for the donors of gift subscriptions. Please contact us to inform us of any changes or to arrange payments.
Security
No payment details are held online. Please email spectator@servicehelpline.co.uk if you have any queries.

The Spectator on Kindle
The Spectator is available on Kindle for £2.99 per month.
Unfortunately Amazon do not currently offer publishers the ability to give free Kindle access to their paper for digital subscribers. This situation is under constant review and may well change in the future. We will inform all of our subscribers should the situation change.
Meanwhile, as a subscriber you do get free access to The Spectator on iPhone, iPad, and online through our website. Details of those options can be found here.
