Join us in the Spectator boardroom on Friday 14 June for the next in our series of Spectator Winemaker Lunches with Amandine Bernard, sales and marketing director of Château Beauchêne, the celebrated producer of fine Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône Villages and Côtes du Rhône.

The Bernard family have lived in Orange since the 17th century and bought their first vineyard in 1794 (it’s still in use today) and Amandine’s parents – Michel and Dominique – have run the estate since 1971.

Amandine is a worthy ambassador for the southern Rhône and, over a fine four-course cold lunch provided by Forman & Field, she will discuss the area in general and her own stunning wines in particular and we will enjoy the deliciously peachy Viognier Côtes du Rhône, the supple, herbal and intense Pavillon du Château Beauchêne Rouge, the gloriously concentrated and spicy Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vignobles de la Serrière and the dense, rich Château Beauchêne Premier Terroir (en magnum).

This promises to be a wonderful occasion and we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

To buy tickets, head to the Spectator Shop.
