UPDATE: Just to be clear, like Fergus Pickering in the comments, I too am fed up with the “Wodehouse as a Nazi” nonsense. It was always piffle and Robert McCrum’s biography of Plum goes to exhaustive lengths to demonstrate the sillyness of it all.
