Any questions for Cameron? | 27 September 2009

I’m interviewing David Cameron tomorrow, for the next edition of the magazine. When Boris was a mere journalist, he said that writing interviews was like trying to make a mosaic out of a truckload of gravel – you ask questions, some trigger interesting responses, others not so much. So the writer sits with a heap of quotes, then puts together a narrative using about a fifth of the material.

The many joys of the internet mean I can publish far more online – gravel and all. I have an hour with him. So after I have asked him my list of questions, I’ll gladly put some of yours to him. Fire away.
