Dealing with Sally Bercow

What on earth should be done with Sally Bercow, the Labour-supporting wife of the Speaker and Tory MP, John Bercow? She keeps writing nasty things about the Conservatives on Twitter, calling them “mental” and “useless” and so on. Now some Tories have insisted that this uppity besom has “crossed the line” and her husband should exert some form of control. Quite right. In the very olden days women who acted a bit too independent would have their hamstrings cut as a punishment, so that they couldn’t move. But I suppose Sally could still drag herself across the carpet to the computer. Perhaps he should send her on a flower-arranging or jam making course, so that she begins to understand her proper role as the wife of a Tory MP.
