Dr David Starkey is a great man, a Tudor historian, and one of the few academics who tells it like it is. Openly gay, he has no time for prancing queens and other such clown minorities trying to steal a bigger slice of the freebie pie. After last summer’s riots he had the courage to talk about a ‘violent, destructive, nihilistic gangster culture’ and how, as he put it, ‘the whites have become black’. All while politically correct policy-makers were hand-wringing about inequality and other such urban deprivation myths. He did not endear himself to the PC commissars, and that’s quite an understatement. PC, as intolerant a system of thought as the Salem trials, will simply never accept the truth. In fact, it is a persistent form of untruthfulness, pretending that things are different from what they are.

So-called imams in western Europe preach that the teachings of the Koran require the execution of gays. But if I write that Islam is a vile religion for advocating the execution of homosexuals I will most likely be sued and pursued by my own kind, a white, Christian, heterosexual élite who believe that appeasing the Arabs will one day bring us peace and prosperity. Black gangland violence (now abetted by whites) has turned certain areas of British cities into no-go zones, and it is a strange boast of British race relations that all races have been sucked into the gangster culture, as brave Dr Starkey said. If the PC commissars won’t let anyone discuss it, then no wonder the problem is left to fester. No wonder so many young lives are ruined, or cut short.

Just over half the men hauled in for street crime in London are black, according to the Metropolitan Police. Police also think more than two thirds of gun crime is committed by black men. The victims, by the way, are overwhelmingly likely to be black. But talk or write about generation after generation of black criminals, and they will come after you threatening prison — the way Trevor Phillips did after the poor little Greek boy mentioned it in these pages about ten years ago.

The latest joke conviction comes from Paris, where the famous perfumer Jean-Paul Guerlain was found guilty of racism after saying something as innocuous as: ‘For once, I set to work like a negro, although I don’t know if negroes have always worked like that, but anyway.’ The 75-year-old perfumer said this while reminiscing on television, and said later he was just trying to make the interviewer laugh. He has apologised profusely since, saying he was using an expression common amongst his generation. But the court found him guilty of being a threat to public order. In other words, Guerlain threatened public order for joking that blacks are lazy. What I’d like to know is whatever happened to the freedom of speech principle? Was the Bastille stormed 223 years ago so a judge can fine a man of previously impeccable character for being insensitive on television?

When I wrote badly of the New York Puerto Rican parade, the Hispanics cried foul, certain Jewish activists screamed the Nazis are coming, and Rudy Giuliani tried to deport me. Soon after, the Taki curse landed on ‘America’s mayor’, as he was then known. He broke up with his wife, began to cross-dress, and fell out with his only son. The great prosecutor-mayor-prospective president also failed to do his homework. Not even Uncle Sam can deport American citizens, except, of course, if they’re falsely accused of being Ivan the Terrible and are immediately stripped of their citizenship and dispatched to Israel and eventually Germany.

So what is my point? Easy. As Mark Steyn wrote: ‘Restive European Muslims and unlimited Saudi money can put pressure on American publishers, institutions and media that will eventually render the First Amendment moot.’ But it is we, the white Christian majority, who are giving in to this outrage, too scared to tell them to go to hell, too chicken to fight for our freedom of speech. The media are the worst, quaking in their boots in case they say something that might get the race hustlers hustling. Ninety-eight per cent of those reading this will agree with it, but it is the two per cent that disagree that will make their opinions count by denouncing the greatest Greek freedom fighter since Leonidas of Sparta as a racist, anti-Semitic Nazi.

And speaking of Human Rights, if you have any spare change do send it to the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation — or There’s an Idiot Schmuck Born Every Minute — so Bianca can continue to roam the globe getting her picture in the papers while posing with indigenous people the world over. Studio 54 nights are long ago, but pictures of her riding in on a white horse are still around. Who said you can’t go home again? Actually it was Thomas Wolfe, but it’s la Jagger who needs to go back to some private room of some dive and sniff some happy dust rather than keep bugging us with her worthwhile causes, or how to enhance her image by posing next to some half-dressed Indians of the Amazon.

Yes, folks, as the idiotic George W. Bush would say, in Europe we empower the underachieving minority in order to subjugate the dominant majority; in America we demonise good presidents like Coolidge and Pierce while lionising war maniac criminals like Wilson and FDR; and since the 1960s we have tolerated, admired and grovelled before any unwashed protestor. Let’s tell the Saudi-funded busy-bodies of this world enough is enough. And let’s do something about it.
