KYN Hurlingham recently opened near the Hurlingham Club in Parsons Green, south-west London, with a spacious walled garden and 32 ensuite bedrooms situated around the heart of the home where the Great Room, private dining room, concierge and library are located. Smaller sitting rooms sit on every floor while, downstairs, the Retreat area features a home cinema and a spa with hair styling, a barber, a nail studio and a private therapy room for weekly Bamford treatments. Future homes are set to open across London in the coming years, with Kensington and Highgate tabled to open in 2028.

The members of staff I met were friendly, kind and caring, and from what I saw they discreetly watched over the residents, stepping in to help if required or with suggestions to make them more comfortable. The beautifully restored building, including many original features, together with carefully created decorations and furnishings, created a calm and peaceful atmosphere throughout.
