Oh dear. Given that today’s papers are filled with negative headlines regarding the Conservative manifesto, one would be forgiven for thinking that all Labour had to do this Sunday was sit back and watch. However, Jon Trickett has other ideas.
The shadow minister for the Cabinet Office has taken to social media to share some ‘truly astonishing’ news that May was apparently ‘preparing to release Ian Brady’ prior to the murderer’s death:
Only there’s a problem. It’s fake news — Trickett is circulating a fake meme. So much for Labour claims that the party champions responsible journalism…
