The research by Electoral Calculus predicts Labour would only cling onto three seats in the areas that voted this month, while the Tories would hold just 25 – losing two of their shadow cabinet ministers in the process. Meanwhile Reform’s popularity is projected to soar, with the party holding onto two of its MPs in the areas and gaining an additional 79 from Labour, the Tories and even the Liberal Democrats.
